Vassallo Group celebrated its 75th Anniversary on June 4th with various activities spread over 2 days to greet and thank employees for their hard work throughout the years making the group the success story it is today.
For a number of years The 4th of June has been celebrated with an event for employees ‘The Shine Awards’ whereas the name clearly states it allows for hard working employees to shine, acknowledging their dedication to the company. Due to COVID-19 restrictions this event could not be held this year once again therefore it was time to improvise and work around it. The group Chairman Nazzareno Vassallo accompanied by group CEO Pio Vassallo, various shareholders, directors and top management visited employees at their place of work to present them with long service award trophies and retirement bonuses forming part of the Vassallo Group Loyalty and Retirement schemes.
The visits were spread over two days where the group visited all CareMalta’s Elderly homes, the newest home for HILA – Casal Nuovo in Paola, Campus Hub at the University, Vassallo Business Park in Burmarrad, CaterEssence and Learning Works at the Landmark in Qormi and Group Head Office in Mosta.
In addition to the long service awards being distributed, the 4th also included an inauguration of the administrative block at Vassallo Business Park, The Cake Box 7th Birthday, Learning Works Anniversary as well as two ZVART (Zaren Vassallo Art Initiative) events, one at the Chairman’s Office and another at the Mosta Head Office. Vassallo Group celebrated its 75 years of success by adhering to its motto Tradition, Innovation, Diversity.
