Vassallo Group once again marked Arkati Foundation Day with a visit by the foundation’s chairman, Mr Joe Saliba and members of all places of work across the group. Group chairman Nazzareno Vassallo who founded The Arkati Foundation 27 years ago joined the Arkati representatives on the day to the sites visits.

It is an employee solidarity fund aimed to help those going through hard times. The employees themselves donate a day of leave or a small fee while the company contributes a substantial sum each year.
The group set off to visit in total 18 locations, from CareMalta and HILA homes to construction sites such as Vassallo Business Park and MIA as well as premises run by CaterEssence.

During these visits emphasis was also given to Vassallo Groups’s Employee Assistance Programme which is an employee benefit-programme intended to help employees to deal with any personal problems that might impact their job performance, health and well-being. The services are being offered through the Richmond Foundation, a non-govermental organisation which runs a staff and organisation support programme. This service is strictly confidential and the employee contacts the foundation directly wthout the need of going through the company to benefit from the service.

Vassallo Group employs over 1800 persons representing over 50 different nationalities. For more information or to join a company within the group visit lifeatvassallogroup.com
