2016 is a year to be remembered for Vassallo Group as it celebrates its 70 years since inception. The Group started out in the post World War II era as a construction company. Over the years, it expanded its operations in a number of economic sectors including Property & Construction, Real Estate, Bespoke Furniture, Care & Elderly, Catering, Hospitality, Information Technology, Architecture and Education.
The Group is today one of the most established and successful companies in the Maltese Islands. Headed by Mr Nazzareno Vassallo and his 5 children, Vassallo Group employs over 1700 individuals within all the companies that form part of the Group.
“This is an important milestone not just for my family but also for our employees and collaborators that are all part of this success. It is our intention to further grow our business, create more jobs and thus strengthen the Maltese economy,” commented Mr Nazzareno Vassallo.
This special year will be commemorated by a number of events that will mark the 70 years anniversary. The highlight will be undoubtedly the opening of the very first home of HILA (Home for independence and limitless abilities). This home situated in Mosta will offer a range of services to persons with special needs, including advocacy; independent supported living housing, support services, learning, development and leisure with a person-centred approach.
